Wonder through the streets of the adorable area and admire the eclectic mix of architecture, boutiques and plazas. Stroll down east of Avenida Brasil and encounter gorgeous buildings from the Art-Nouveau maisonette on Calle Cienfuegos to the Gothic Basilica de Salvador located on Chile Almirante Barroso. Just north of the tree-lined Avenida Brasil you will run into Plaza Brasil, the heart of the neighborhood that contains beautiful sculptures by Federica Matta, daughter Roberto Matta, the famed Chilean painter. During the night hours this plaza takes on a whole new face offering great bars and clubs.
